🔥 Cohen Museousky Leads After Round 1 at Sim Park 🔥

Sim Park Golf Course | Monday, August 4

Championship Division (Blue Tees – 18 Holes)
Cohen Museousky (Goddard ’28) put on an absolute clinic at Sim Park, firing a blistering 8-under-par 63 on the par-71 layout. He scorched the front nine with a -5 (31) and backed it up with a -3 (32) on the inward nine. His wedge play and putting were on point, including an Eagle 2 on #9 with a solid chip-in.

Carson Bachrodt (Kapaun ’26) matched Museousky with a -5 (31) on the front but came in with a 33 on the back to finish at -7 (64) — just one shot back heading into Day 2. Logan Lam carded a steady -4 (67), while Seth Benjamin and Joe Binger sit tied at -2 (69).

With one of the lowest rounds in City Junior Championship history, Cohen has firmly planted himself atop the leaderboard, but the chase is on as we head into Tuesday’s final round.

Silver Tees Division (9 Holes – Hole 10 Start)

Logan Burke surged to the top of the Silver Tees division with an impressive 1-over-par 37, opening up a 9-shot lead over second-place James Doyle (46). The battle for second remains tight, with Stratton Duling (50), Champ Krsnich (52), and Nico Valdivia (54) in close pursuit.

Other scores:

  • Max Navarro – 68

  • Gabriel DeLeon – 70

Burke’s consistency and confidence on the front nine have him in a commanding position to take home the title in Tuesday’s final round.

12+ White Tees Division (18 Holes)

Chase Knipp has taken control of the 12+ White Tees division, posting a solid round of 80, giving him a 34-shot lead over Jayden Stadalman (114) and Blake Gilliand (119). His precision and control off the tee separated him from the field early.

📣 Day 2 Tee Times Are Posted!
