STEP 1 — YOU BUY A ROUND
When you donate, you’re not funding administration or programs.
You are buying golf.
$10 = 1 junior round
$50 = 5 rounds
$300 = 30 rounds
$1,000 = 100 rounds
Every dollar is earmarked for green fees at Wichita’s public golf courses.
STEP 2 — WE PAY THE COURSES
Wichita.Golf partners with all four public golf courses in the city. Auburn Hills, Arthur B Sim, MacDonald Golf Park, Tex Consolver.
We use donations to directly cover junior green fees so kids can play for free—whether it’s their first time holding a club or their hundredth round.
This removes the single biggest barrier to golf: cost.

Our Mission
Corey and Pete Golf FORE Kids Co. was founded in 2019 to eliminate any barriers the youth of South Central Kansas may incur. We assist kids in reaching their full potential and empower them to participate in youth sports by reducing or eliminating the cost altogether.
Our Vision
Corey and Pete Golf FORE Kids Co. in just the short time since its inception, has had a large impact on the youth in our community. We are committed to granting access to opportunities, skills, resources, and the relationships they need to actualize their potential.
Where it all began…

The Wichita Golf Marathon started in 2019. The founders of the marathon Pete Krsnich and Corey Novascones with the help of Rick and Gary Navarro. They have been advocates for junior golf and other youth sports their entire lives. They all come from golfing backgrounds, growing up around the game and hoping to pass on the lessons they learned from a game that has been able to give them a lot. All of the founders noticed a decline in junior golfers and youth sports in general, in the Wichita Community. They started to ask questions and then came up with a plan to grow youth sports and give back to their community.

It all began with an idea. Maybe we could raise enough funds to eliminate any excuse for a junior golfer to get on the golf course? What would it take in order to pay for green fees for all junior golfers? The founders of the Wichita Golf Marathon set up a meeting with the City of Wichita to see how they could partner up to increase rounds played by junior golfers at the four city of Wichita public golf courses This meeting led us to where we are today. In 2018 rounds of golf by juniors were somewhere under 500 rounds a year.

Since 2019 the Wichita Golf Marathon has raised almost $145,000. All of these proceeds have gone to rounds played by junior golfers at the four Wichita public golf courses, entry fees for junior golfers, traveling expenses for junior golfers to be seen on a national stage, and uniforms for sports teams. We appreciate our partnership with The City of Wichita and what they have allowed us to build. We also would like to thank First Tee - Greater Wichita, who donated their accounting and time for the first three years of the marathon. In 2022, The Wichita Golf Marathon created its own 501 (c)3 organization in order to separate itself from First Tee - Greater Wichita. We appreciate all First Tee - Greater Wichita has done for us to get this project off the ground. The Organization continues to grow and has a larger reach than just golf. The organization has grown to help all youth sports in the Wichita area. The success of the Wichita Golf Marathon has allowed the organization to assist with many other areas that have an impact on the youth of Wichita and surrounding areas. This includes scholarships, equipment, uniforms for organized sports to name a few.
